5thSeptember,2008- When Mr. D. Subbarao will take the charge of BI Governor, His signature will be in roll of Indian currency.
He has a strong macroeconomic background , solid experience as a fiscal manager and have a balanced professional life , approachibility make him a right fit to the post.
But the path is not so simple to him because of Indian tricky economic condition, inflation rate etc. He is an IAS of 1972 batch and served the country in many key positions like Director in Ministry of Finance and Company Affairs, Finance Secretary etc.
