Banks are blocking the inactive credit cards because of saving the cost and avoid the potential defaulters. To generate the monthly statement and despatching it to customer cost around Rs. 10 to the bank or issuing card company. So, if a company have a customer base of 1 million they have to spent Rs. 1 crore to this communication.
