In December, 1983 – Automobile sector witnessed a revolutionary step when first Maruti 800 rolled out from a Maruti factory at Gurgaon and till then, Indian roads witnessed and accept that little wonder on wheels and from 1983, Maruti sold almost 25 Lac Maruti 800 to their customer.
The first Maruti car were sold in Rs. 48,000/- and this little wonder was a joint effort of Maruti and Suzuki Motor of Japan. But now Maruti Suzuki decision to bring the curtains down to this car brings the emotional attachment of many customers with this car.
Maruti 800 ruled the automobile sector since its inception and if you ask many people, they will tell you their first car is Maruti 800.

We love this Maruti 800 , but somewhere this is an end of Maruti 800 to pave the way to others. It means No new Maruti 800 will be produced by Maruti now onwards.
