Forbes released Global 2000 list -2010 – The biggest companies in the world

Forbes magazine released the list of global 2000 for 2010 - world largest companies.  The top ten are listed under :
1. J.P. Morgan Chase ( USA) deals in banking sector.

2. General Electric ( USA) is a Conglomerates.

3. Bank of America ( USA)

4. ExxonMobil (USA ) active in Oil and gas operations.

5. ICBC ( China) deals in Banking sector

6. Banco Santander ( Spain) in banking sector

7. Wells Fargo ( USA) in Banking.

8. HSBC Holdings (UK) in banking

8. Royal Dutch Shell ( Netherlands ) active in Oil and gas operations

10. BP (UK) active in oil and gas operations.

Indian connection with Forbes Global 2000 list is – 56 Indian companies made their place in global 2000 list. Reliance Industries ranked at 126 , SBI is at 130th place, ONGC at 155th , Indian oil at 313, NTPC at 341, Tata steel at 345, Bharti Airtel at 471, SAIL at 502, L&T at 548 and UCO bank at 1910.
