Muttiah Murlidharan is all set to take retirement from Cricket………

The legendary spinner of all time Srilankan Muttiah Murlidharan is all set to say adieu to Cricket after the first test match against India in July.


This 38 years old ( Born on 17th April, 1972) in Kandy, Srilanka was all time highest wicket taker of both the popular form of cricket. He bagged 792 wickets in 132 Tests and 512 wickets in 334 ODI.

He did his test debut in August 1992 against Australia and ODI debut on August, 1993. He took 66 times 5 wicket haul in test matches in an innings and 10 times in ODI. He also bagged the 10 wickets haul in test matches cricket in 22 times.

This legendary off break spinner is now taking retirement from test matches and can play the world cup for Srilanka scheduled in next year in Asian sub continent
