The Father of Green Revolution- Norman Borlaug died on 12 Sep, 2009..

If we see the greatest human being list in this century , there are many people who contributed their genius ness to the world and one of the personality was Norman Borlaug – A noble laureate whose contribution is remarkable and unforgettable in the agricultural development.

Today, when we teach about the green revolution , we sometime forget to tell our generation who is the man behind the revolution… This was Norman Borlaug …..A true scientist who was also received the Padma Bhushan from Indian government. When he received the Noble peace prize of 1970 , nobody was surprised because of the importance of their role in the agricultural productivity.

Due to his contribution, Mexico , India and Pakistan able to produce the double agricultural production of wheat. His contribution in the Green Revolution , developing the semi –Dwarf high yield , disease resistant Many wheat varieties always remembered throughout the world and he set the world food prize to establish the quality standard in the field of agricultural field.

We can only say ….Thank u very much , Mr. Norman Borlaug………You set a path for your followers and your contribution will never forget. You are a true humanitarian of all time.
