Indian origin Kamla Prasad Bissessar became the first lady prime minister of Trinidad and Tobago....




It was a historic moment for Trinidad and Tobago, a country at south Caribbean when the United National Congress party leader lead the coalition of five parties “ People’s Partnership”  and became the first woman prime minister of this Caribbean country having 45 % Indian origin people.

Kamla coalition “People’s partnership” won 29 seats out of 41 and won a clear majority.  This has ended the 40 years rule of ruling party

Kamla ancestors were brought in these islands in 19th century from India to work in these islands. She is hindu and has a great faith on God.

Indian Government bagged Rs. 67,719 Crore from 3G auction

The E-auction of 3G spectrum was over on 19th May,2010 and all the 71 blocks of 22 service areas were sold in the auction. The successful bidders are Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Essar, Reliance Communication, Aircel, Idea Cellular , Tata Teleservices and S.Tel and jointly they shell out Rs. 67,719 crore for their allotted slots.


Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communication- each won 13 of the 22 telecom zones on offer and other are remaining with Aircel, Vodafone and Tata.

This 3 G spectrum will enable these operators to give the high end data services to their customers and a new revolution is on for all the mobile users to use the services of 3 G like video chat, video streaming and file transfer facilities.

Auto rickshaw fare will increase by Rs.1.50 per KM in Delhi………

Delhi is the hub for Auto Rickshaws and Delhites are dependant on these auto rickshaw. If you have visited Delhi, you can easily understand the importance of these three wheelers.

Now if everything goes fine, the fare is possibly increasing by Rs. 1.50 per kilometer. So, if you are in delhi or planning to visit delhi , be ready to spare some extra money to take the services of these auto rickshaws. At present the fare of Auto rickshaws in delhi is Rs. 10/- for first KM and thereafter Rs. 4.50 per KM set by government. But most often the drivers are not run by these set fare parameters and customer pays extra money to drivers.

Delhi Government Chief Minister Shiela Dixit want Auto off from Delhi Road and she said that government also planning a phase out program to off these auto rickshaw from Delhi.

Supreme Court had ordered on September, 1997 that only 55000 Auto rickshaw can run on Delhi roads and a new auto rickshaw can only introduced as a replacement. No new permit can be issued to any new autorickshaws in Delhi.

Bill Gates , the founder of software giant” Microsoft” visited Amethi with congress leader , Rahul Gandhi and understood the problem of Amethi and promised to make Ametthi an IT hub. Rahul Gandhi acted as a guide for Bill Gates.

Bill Gates visited Patna to adopt a village of Bihar named as Guleria Mushari under Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.


Bill and Melinda Gates foundation is the biggest charity trust formed by Bill Gates and supported by Warren Buffet , Berkshire Hathway chief. There are several other people who is associated with this trust for noble cause all around the world.

Picaso masterpiece " Nude, Green leave and Bust" sold at Rs.471 Crores.........



All time great Pablo Picaso painting titled as “Nude, green leaves and bust” sold in an auction with a record price of Rs. 471 crore ( $ 106.5 million) at Christie’s International in New York. This painting was painted by the legend in the year 1932.  This is the highest amount ever fetched by an artwork and this broke the record $104.2 million set by another Picasso’s masterpiece “Garcon a la Pipe” which was sold a price of $ 104.2 millions in 2004.

Pablo Picasso was a spanish painter who was born on 25th October, 1881 and died in 8 April,1973 in france. He was also a draughtsman and sculptor.

Tata - Nano has to face the tough competition with Bajaj Renault car in 2012......



After TATA-NANO , Bajaj –Renault will launch the Rs. 1.10 Lac car in Market by 2012

Bajaj, the Indian Auto Company and French major Renault reached in a conclusion to launch the much talked launch of ultra low cost car in Indian market by 2012.  All the design, engineering, sourcing and manufacturing will be the responsibility of Bajaj and the marketing & selling will be done by Renault Nissan alliances.

The target price of this car will be $ 2500 ( Rs. 1.1 Lac).  We will soon see the competition in ultra low cost car segment where this car will give the challenge to TATA-NANO who is running in the Indian market

Lalit Modi is the grandson of famous Industrialist Gujar Lal Modi who founded the Modinagar and son of K.K.Modi who runs the Godfrey Philips, a 3500+ crore plus company and chairman of Modi enterprises.

He is graduated from Duke University, US.

Lalit Modi married to Minal Modi who is also belong to a sindhi business family. Modi has had two children named Ruchir and Aliya from his marriage with Minal

Forbes magazine released the list of global 2000 for 2010 - world largest companies.  The top ten are listed under :
1. J.P. Morgan Chase ( USA) deals in banking sector.

2. General Electric ( USA) is a Conglomerates.

3. Bank of America ( USA)

4. ExxonMobil (USA ) active in Oil and gas operations.

5. ICBC ( China) deals in Banking sector

Microsoft – The software giant now into the mobile handset business with its two models –Kin One and Kin Two ……….



Blackberry and Apple has seems to be  high competition from Microsoft in the high end and high-tech mobile phones as Microsoft is readying to launch its KIN –One and KIN-Two mobile handset. They are eying the huge market of teenage who wants to remain in touch with their friends through the networking sites.

These phones are loaded with all the essential features which is required by a teenage like video playing, surfing , music and online connectivity etc.  The phone is manufactured by the Sharp and launch in the market May  in US and then within few months in other parts of the world

3 G Spectrum for private operator is yet to finalized in India , but handset seller ready to grab the market of 3 G ……….

New entrants in mobile phones are ready to fight with the majors like Nokia, Samsung, LG, Motorola in 3 G mobiles. These new vendors has the right time to grab the market as they were not enough competent in the old segment to fight with the majors.

3 G auction is going on and yet not finalized for all the 22 Circles in India but the new vendors like Intex, Karbonn, INQ Mobiles etc are seriously thinking to launch the 3G enable phones to India in a reasonable rates.

At present all the new vendors shares approximately 15% of the mobile handset market in India but they are now looking for a big share in the 3 G spectrum and they are really helpful to bring down the cost of 3 G phones below 10 K which is reasonable to Indian market.

A whole new segment is open for all the new entrants like Intex , Lava, Karbonn, Zen Moblies, GeePee, Spice, Movil , Wynn telecom, Maxx, Micromax ………….

3 G spectrum ……Who will take it in India other than MTNL?



From 9th April,2010 – 3 G spectrum auction begins and the contenders are Bharati, Vodafone, Reliance Communication , Idea Cellular , TTSL and Aircel. The auction will be done for all the 22 circles and government is expected to get atleast Rs. 35,000 Crore from selling the 3G and BWA services.

All the winners will be awarded the spectrum in September, 2010 and the telecom player will be able to give the 3G services to their customer only by starting of 2011.

So, ready to explore the new world of 3G Services in India and currently this services are only offered by MTNL.
