Indian Rupees got its Symbol …………….



IITian Uday Kumar was in seventh sky when his designed Rupees Symbol approved by the cabinet ministry to symbolize Indian Rupee. Now Indian Rupees is in the elite group of those currencies which has their specific symbol like Dollar, Pond and Euro.

Cabinet has approved the design of IIT student which has Indianess on Thursday. Cabinet has selected this design over many design submitted by many people. The Rupees symbol is a perfect combination of Devnagari and modernization.

Now we have to write down it before the nos of rupees just like we write $100.

We must say Rupees gots its credit.

Tathagar Tulsi is in new avatar – Professor at IIT, Mumbai

Yesterday child prodigy , Mr Tathagat Avatar Tulsi ( Tathagat is the name of Lord Budha, Avatat means reincarnation) now ready to take the responsibility of a professor at IIT, Mumbai at the age of 22. He will teach students at IIT and students will give happy welcome to this youngest IIT Professor of their age.

Born in a middle class family at Patna , Bihar – Tathagat always in limelight when he completed his highschool when he was just 9 years old. He had completed his graduation at the age of 11 and M.Sc at the age of 12 years. What will you say?

Now, this young scientist and professor is aiming to make some research in super computing. As his past records, This will definitely happen in future and may be he can win Nobel Prize in future.

Muttiah Murlidharan is all set to take retirement from Cricket………

The legendary spinner of all time Srilankan Muttiah Murlidharan is all set to say adieu to Cricket after the first test match against India in July.


This 38 years old ( Born on 17th April, 1972) in Kandy, Srilanka was all time highest wicket taker of both the popular form of cricket. He bagged 792 wickets in 132 Tests and 512 wickets in 334 ODI.

He did his test debut in August 1992 against Australia and ODI debut on August, 1993. He took 66 times 5 wicket haul in test matches in an innings and 10 times in ODI. He also bagged the 10 wickets haul in test matches cricket in 22 times.

This legendary off break spinner is now taking retirement from test matches and can play the world cup for Srilanka scheduled in next year in Asian sub continent

Sharad Pawar will control ICC , The new chief of ICC in role

Sharad Pawar is the second man from India after Jagmohan Dalmiya who will hold the President chair of ICC ( International Cricket Council) from 1st July,2010. He take the top most post from England’s David Morgan.

He is acquiring the top most post at a time when the next world cup of cricket is scheduled in India, Sri Lanka and Bangla desh in 2011.

SharadChandra Govindrao Pawar akka Sharad Pawar also served as the chairman of BCCI from 2005 to 2008. He is currently the Minister of Agriculture in Indian government and president of Nationalist Congress Party which was founded in 1999 after separation from Congress. He is Member of Parliament from Madha , Maharastra.

Saina Nehwal – New age sports woman from India in Badminton

When Saina Nehwal beat the Japanese player Sayaka Sato in Indonesia Open Super Series on 27th July,10, she completed the hat trick of winning the three titles of super open. Earlier she won Indian Open Grand and Singpore Super Open.

Saina Nehwal was born on 17th March,1990 at Hissar , Haryana who has the 3rd world ranking in Badminton. This 60 Kg and 5 ft 5 Inch Indian badminton player has opened the whole arena of Badminton in India.

Saina is the first Indian woman player who reached the singles quarterfinal in Olympics at Beijing and first Indian to win the world junior badminton championship. The Arjun Awardee Saina is coached by Puella Gopichand and Atik Jauhari.

Indian Rupee symbol fate decided today………….

If everything goes fine on Thursday, 24th July, 2010 in the cabinet minister meeting, our Indian Rupee will gets it logo and will entered in the elite group of currencies like US Dollar, British pound, Euro, Japanese Yen which has its own unique symbol which distinguished the currency from others.

The contest to design the symbol is started the open contest by Finance ministry in Feb,2009 and there are thousands of logo were submitted and finally the five design were chosen which is submitted to today’s cabinet meeting and one lucky symbol will be chosen and its designer will get Rs 2.5 Lakh.

Pranab Mukherjee said on its budgetary speech this year, "In the ensuing year, we intend to formalise a symbol for the Indian rupee, which reflects and captures the Indian ethos and culture.”

Let us wish , INR will gets its symbol today.

Who is Warren Anderson and what is his role in Bhopal Gas Tragedy?

 On 3rd December, 1984 The Bhopal Gas Tragedy happened due to the leakage of Methyl Isocynate ( MIC) and other toxins from the Union Carbide plant at Bhopal which affected nearly 500000 people which costs the 3500 people death and thousands of people affected.

Warren Anderson was the CEO of UCIL ( Union Carbide India Limited ) during the Industrial catastrophe at Bhopal in 1984 and He knew the facts that there 30 major hazards reported by Greenpeace during their plant audit and Mr. Anderson did not take care of it and due to this , the tragedy happened.


Now After 25 years, the court had given their judgment on Indian accused but Mr. Anderson is happily living in America without any charges.

FIFA World Cup 2010 Kick off today at South Africa..............

11th June,2010- A historic day for South Africa when the world mega event of sports – FIFA World cup 2010 will kick off from Johannesburg with the inaugural match between host South Africa and Mexico.


32 countries will play for this prestigious trophy in South Africa for a month long tournament and can Italy be able to defend its title or the giants from Brazil, Spain , Argentina will hold the trophy on 11th July , 2010.

204 countries played in the qualifying round to make their participation in this world cup but only 32 countries made it possible. These 32 Countries are divided into 8 groups and 16 teams will be in knock-out round and 8 teams will reach at Quarter final stage.

Let us wish – South Africa – the first African country who is hosting the world cup will able to make this event a mega event.

Indian audience will soon see the ad-free TV channel………….

When we see the Indian TV channel, we most often spend out time to surfing the channel because of advertisement. But this is really a good news that Indian audiences may soon have advertisement free channel like BBC, ABC and HBO. TRAI ( Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) recently check the possibilities of launching ad free channel with the broadcaster.

Question is – If the TV channel will not show the advertisement, what are the sources of their revenue to maintain the huge infrastructure , salary and other expenses. Answer is – The ad free channel revenue is solely depend on the subscription revenue and that is the reason their subscription is higher than the other channel.


There are numbers of international broadcaster who are keen to launch their channel in India under Ad free channel.

So, wait for sometimes, we will see the interrupted MOVIE or any program on TV.

Indian origin Kamla Prasad Bissessar became the first lady prime minister of Trinidad and Tobago....




It was a historic moment for Trinidad and Tobago, a country at south Caribbean when the United National Congress party leader lead the coalition of five parties “ People’s Partnership”  and became the first woman prime minister of this Caribbean country having 45 % Indian origin people.

Kamla coalition “People’s partnership” won 29 seats out of 41 and won a clear majority.  This has ended the 40 years rule of ruling party

Kamla ancestors were brought in these islands in 19th century from India to work in these islands. She is hindu and has a great faith on God.

Indian Government bagged Rs. 67,719 Crore from 3G auction

The E-auction of 3G spectrum was over on 19th May,2010 and all the 71 blocks of 22 service areas were sold in the auction. The successful bidders are Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Essar, Reliance Communication, Aircel, Idea Cellular , Tata Teleservices and S.Tel and jointly they shell out Rs. 67,719 crore for their allotted slots.


Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communication- each won 13 of the 22 telecom zones on offer and other are remaining with Aircel, Vodafone and Tata.

This 3 G spectrum will enable these operators to give the high end data services to their customers and a new revolution is on for all the mobile users to use the services of 3 G like video chat, video streaming and file transfer facilities.

Auto rickshaw fare will increase by Rs.1.50 per KM in Delhi………

Delhi is the hub for Auto Rickshaws and Delhites are dependant on these auto rickshaw. If you have visited Delhi, you can easily understand the importance of these three wheelers.

Now if everything goes fine, the fare is possibly increasing by Rs. 1.50 per kilometer. So, if you are in delhi or planning to visit delhi , be ready to spare some extra money to take the services of these auto rickshaws. At present the fare of Auto rickshaws in delhi is Rs. 10/- for first KM and thereafter Rs. 4.50 per KM set by government. But most often the drivers are not run by these set fare parameters and customer pays extra money to drivers.

Delhi Government Chief Minister Shiela Dixit want Auto off from Delhi Road and she said that government also planning a phase out program to off these auto rickshaw from Delhi.

Supreme Court had ordered on September, 1997 that only 55000 Auto rickshaw can run on Delhi roads and a new auto rickshaw can only introduced as a replacement. No new permit can be issued to any new autorickshaws in Delhi.

Bill Gates , the founder of software giant” Microsoft” visited Amethi with congress leader , Rahul Gandhi and understood the problem of Amethi and promised to make Ametthi an IT hub. Rahul Gandhi acted as a guide for Bill Gates.

Bill Gates visited Patna to adopt a village of Bihar named as Guleria Mushari under Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.


Bill and Melinda Gates foundation is the biggest charity trust formed by Bill Gates and supported by Warren Buffet , Berkshire Hathway chief. There are several other people who is associated with this trust for noble cause all around the world.

Picaso masterpiece " Nude, Green leave and Bust" sold at Rs.471 Crores.........



All time great Pablo Picaso painting titled as “Nude, green leaves and bust” sold in an auction with a record price of Rs. 471 crore ( $ 106.5 million) at Christie’s International in New York. This painting was painted by the legend in the year 1932.  This is the highest amount ever fetched by an artwork and this broke the record $104.2 million set by another Picasso’s masterpiece “Garcon a la Pipe” which was sold a price of $ 104.2 millions in 2004.

Pablo Picasso was a spanish painter who was born on 25th October, 1881 and died in 8 April,1973 in france. He was also a draughtsman and sculptor.

Tata - Nano has to face the tough competition with Bajaj Renault car in 2012......



After TATA-NANO , Bajaj –Renault will launch the Rs. 1.10 Lac car in Market by 2012

Bajaj, the Indian Auto Company and French major Renault reached in a conclusion to launch the much talked launch of ultra low cost car in Indian market by 2012.  All the design, engineering, sourcing and manufacturing will be the responsibility of Bajaj and the marketing & selling will be done by Renault Nissan alliances.

The target price of this car will be $ 2500 ( Rs. 1.1 Lac).  We will soon see the competition in ultra low cost car segment where this car will give the challenge to TATA-NANO who is running in the Indian market
